New direction

Mon Nov 30, 2009, 6:46 AM
It's been a while, but I haven't been idle. Michal and Ari may fit into a much bigger framework along with some of my other characters whose stories never gelled. Thsi is all because I'm taking an anstronomy class-no math involved, thank goodness. A couple of weeks ago we were learning about "comparative planetology", which means studying the differences between the planets in our solar system to see what we can learn about them. Just think about this:

Mars was the Roman god of war.
Its moons are called Deimos and Phobos, translated as terror and fear.
A lot of people are fascinated by Mars, and they are certain they will find evidence of life there.
There is a HUGE scar on Mars (about 1/5 of the way around the planet); where did it come from?

I can't say anything more about it right now, but once it's more complete I will.

It's very good, but the black and white version makes it even better like you said. It reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia, maybe in Prince Caspian where the four children are looking at the ruins of their castle. Nice job!
